MIKE CAESAR
Mike Caesar, affectionately known as “HOV” to friends and The Republic, is the Co-Founder and CEO of Skyline Republic Multi-Media. Mike began rapping, producing, and writing after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 9 years old and was always told that he would be an underdog because of his mental illness. Mike has collaborated with several hip-hop artists and has headlined and opened on over a dozen major U.S. tours.
Since his music debut, Mike Caesar has become a verified artist with over 10 Million Plays worldwide in over 60 Countries. Hov was acknowledged by the Wayne County Knews as the most successful Waynesboro, MS artist in history, and has landed a spot as one of the Top 5 Most Streamed Mississippi Indie Hip-hop artists in history. Mike is currently a Brand Ambassador for Luc Belaire Champagne and a co-host of Tasty GOOPz Foodie Vlog.
Hov’s last release was July 5, 2019, with the critically acclaimed E.A.R.L.Y. 2 ep and 10-city tour, and has been on hiatus/rumored retirement since. There is no scheduled release date for the long-awaited E.A.R.L.Y. 3.
TRU McFADDEN
Hip Hop flows effortlessly from Tupelo-born artist and Skyline Republic Co-Founder Tru McFadden. Born into a musically-inclined family, he has been surrounded by beats and rhymes for as long as he can remember. Losing his mom at the young age of 14, Tru turned to music to cope with the pain and isolation of her death. It was in that same timeframe that Tru discovered he had a knack for freestyling, which led to a passion for creating lyrics. As chance would have it, Tru connected with fellow artist Mike Caesar, which jumpstarted their record label brainchild, Skyline Republic. The Skyline Republic partnership created numerous creative opportunities for Tru, including fan-favorite single Don’t Land, features on Caesar’s E.A.R.L.Y. album, and collaborations with various up-and-coming producers.
Tru is now hosting the TRUBETALKING podcast, where he discusses boxing, sports, hip-hop, and current events.
Big Goop
Michael Taylor II, also known as Big Goop, is the son of co-founder and CEO Mike Caesar and Chief Financial Officer for Skyline Republic Multi Media. Goop is a varsity senior guard/forward at John Horn High School in Texas and serves as a co-host for the Tasty GOOPz food vlog.
